For the first time Carpenter’s Shelter will host a clothing drive for our clients that are actively seeking employment. Donors will be able to drop clothes off between October 4th and October 8th.  Clothing donations will ONLY be accepted during that week.

Please view our clothing drive flier for a list of acceptable items and share it with friends, family and coworkers.

September  Needs

• Food Items: coffee, tea,  juice boxes, powdered juice,  drinks, cereals, oatmeal, nutritious children’s snacks, salad dressing
• Medicines: first aid supplies, aspirin, vitamins
• Toiletry Items: female sanitary napkins, razors, deodorants, diapers (size 4-6), toothpaste, bar soap
• Miscellaneous: USB drives, Computer keyboards and mice,  tool kit, wash cloths, umbrellas,  new adult underwear, new socks, gift cards to Target, Old Navy and Walmart
• Aftercare Client’s Needs (family sized): sugar, flour, jelly, peanut butter, laundry detergent, dish soap, sponges.

Due to space limitations, we cannot accept furniture, clothes or toys.

Matching Gift Programs
Man companies have matching gifts programs that may double or triple your gift to Carpenter’s Shelter. Check with your human resources or personnel office to see if your company offers this important employee benefit. And if they don’t, why not ask them to consider it.

Workplace Giving Campaigns
Gifts are made in the form of pledges via automatic payroll deduction over the course of the next year or one-time contributions. Giving through the workplace is a convenient, cost-effective way to support Carpenter’s. Consider participating in a Workplace Giving campaign and help us grow!
