Thanksgiving Collection

Now that we’ve sent the kid’s back to school with backpacks full of supplies, it’s time to turn our attention on to the next big holiday: Thanksgiving! The holidays are such a busy time at Carpenter’s Shelter, so we’re getting a jump on them. It’s not too early to start thinking about starting your Thanksgiving collection for the shelter.

Last year, we distributed over 100 baskets to formerly homeless families, filled with all the ingredients needed to make a delicious Thanksgiving dinner. Here at Carpenter’s we would never want a family to have to choose between eating or paying their rent. With your help, they don’t have to. Help feed those in need this holiday season, start up a collection or donate directly to the shelter.
