Carpenter's Shelter provides shelter, guidance, education, and advocacy for homeless individuals and families who seek sustainable independence and stability.

David’s Place Day Shelter

David’s Place offers an alternative for chronically homeless adults,  open seven days a week. It is a clean, safe place where more than 400 unsheltered homeless people attend to their basic needs each year. We offer showers, laundry and locker facilities, phone and voice mail services, and a mailing address. At David’s Place members participate in case management and outreach services, such as substance abuse and mental health treatment. Last year 65 clients transitioned off the streets into safe housing options.

“I’m grateful for all the help that I received from David’s Place and the staff…hopefully I can stay on this path.”
— Mr. S, a formerly homeless member of David’s Place
